Chogyam Trungpa Calligraphy for Shunryu Suzuki

From Garuda: "A solitary rock is majestic. In memory of Suzuki Roshi." Chogyam.(From spring 72 Garuda which includes this tribute to Suzuki)

John Bailes writes:

For what it is worth I much prefer the translation of Rinpoche’s calligraphy that David S. provides in the The Cup book:

“The Tibetan inscription reads, ‘A boulder who dwells alone radiates majesty. In memory of the elder Suzuki. By Chokyo Gyatso’”

Both more elegant and heart felt.
