Time

Originally, our contradiction understanding is based on the nature of time, or idea of time. Time is, as I always say, continuous and discontinuous. Time is not always continuous. Time is discontinuous. You know, when you say, even, you know, time stops, you know. If it is going, you cannot say, "this is six o’clock or eight o’clock." When you say eight o'clock, it is eight o'clock; it is not a future nine o'clock. It is eight o'clock.              --------------------------- Excerpt from Shunryu Suzuki  lecture 66-08-17N - as found on shunryusuzuki.comfrom one of the newly discovered (2021) lecture tapes. Edited by DC  - Going through Suzuki lectures and posting anything that can stand on its own.
