There have been marches, demonstrations, and public events in opposition to "reclaiming" a protected mangrove area, Bali's Benoa Bay, to build hotels, golf course, theme park, etc. when there are already way more of that than they need. There are large posters all over against it - have been for over a year. People don't want it but some rich powerful people do. That poster says to Stop the Reclamation!
Here's an article on it from a year ago. Not sure about details but something like - Musicians at a rally against it at the local month long Bali Arts Festival have been told not to include any songs or lyrics against that project. Gee - what about free speech in their constitution.
