Hartman Family statement on Blanche's passing
Our
beloved mother, teacher, abbess, and friend Zenkei Blanche Hartman
Roshi took her last breath at 12:30 this am. She was 90 years and 5 days
old. She died at ease, peaceful and with joy. According to her wishes
we chanted the full moon ceremony. She will be at Zen Center for three
days so all may come and sit with her. More to follow as details are
worked out.
