Although there is black
and white, those are two sides of the one coin - absolute and relative. And there is some difference in the way of practice in Rinzai and Soto. Soto
puts emphasis on this one [white] and
Rinzai puts emphasis on this one [black]. So Rinzai puts emphasis on
enlightenment and we put emphasis on each part of the body which participates with the
practice of the absolute. So that is why we are concerned about
