Kelsang Tsogtor (formerly Van Vorhees) had this drawing done in Thailand. He later gave the photo it was based on to Zen Center. I sent this drawing to Rinsoin and the Suzuki's said they hadn't seen it and were surprised when I said it was drawn from a photo. I think there's a slight chance it's not Shunryu Suzuki but it sure looks like him when he was younger. Maybe it's from when he first arrived in the US in 1959. He was 55 years old then.
