Fight it Out

The understanding of inmost request by your tears is actual feeling - it makes sense to you. And you can apply it. You will never forget it. So we should know that there is truth in our utmost distress and suffering. We should not forget that there is truth in suffering. And we should not try to escape from it. We should fight it out [laughs]. It is possible. When you, you know, hesitate, you will be lost. When you face to it, you will win. That is true [laughs].

Excerpt is another from Shunryu Suzuki lecture 65-07-28-D as found on shunryusuzuki.com - Edited by DC
