According to
Bodhidharma, buddha-nature is not something to be attained by
practice. For Bodhidharma, our practice is quite independent from various teaching.
Our practice is independent from Buddha's teaching. Although
we acknowledge, or we accept Buddha's teaching, our practice is not
something based on some teaching. Our practice is based on
