Opposite Understandings

Sometimes Buddha put emphasis on self instead of putting the emphasis on selflessness. We call this kind of our teaching double construction or double nature of Buddhism. And actually, without paradoxical or two opposite understandings, we cannot think things clearly. And our thinking will be clear only when we take at least two opposite viewpoints. Then you will have some reality without being caught by a one-sided idea.
