Zentatsu Richard Baker and I went with Vanja Palmers yesterday to Felsenthor, the retreat he founded above Lake Luzern in the Swiss Alps. That's Zentatsu facing, Vanja from behind, and Joen (Rose) who is charge these days. It's my third time there, staying two nights, and it's going well, a community practice, refreshments for hikers, a Rinzai sesshin going on in the traditional Japanese zendo built by Paul Discoe's gang.
