Individualism or capitalism seeks for freedom for our desire. Communism rather put emphasis on equality of the profits or rights. But equality and freedom are not compatible. If you want to be free from everything, if you want to extend your desire freely, limitlessly, you cannot divide things equally, because you want to extend your desire as much as you can.
