That's Junyu Kuroda and Ingrid Shugets Appels, his long time disciple. Junyu was Taizan Maezumi's brother. Another brother, Bushi, sent me to Junyu back in 2003 when I was in Japan for a couple of weeks and he and I had a great time staying up till 5 in the morning. He took me to a place where the waiters sang opera. That was starters. Katrinka and I visited with him at his Tokyo temple in 2014 and he took us to lunch at a place that had a waterfall. Now he and those two brothers are gone. Ingrid informed me that thery are survived by a fourth brother, Yoshikatsu, who makes beautiful sculptures. I will send him my condolences.
