There was a big dispute whether a shrine which is located on the top of Mt. Fuji belonged to Shizuoka Prefecture or Yamanashi Prefecture. And at that time the Archbishop visited the shrine, and he said, “Yamanashi Prefecture is the landlord of Mt. Fuji. I support you as the abbot of Eiheiji.” But people worried about that statement because they were in a terrible dispute, and asked him, “If you go to Shizuoka Prefecture, what will you say to them?” [Laughter.] “That is quite easy,” he said. “I will say that Shizuoka Prefecture is the landlord of Mt.
