The ultimate truth is so simple and so near at hand-- actually within
ourselves. It is pretty difficult to see it-- as difficult as to see our own
face. The only way is to look into the mirror. But Dogen Zenji says, it is
not like looking in a mirror. But
sometimes he says you should look into the mirror [laughter]. Both are true. You
